Our posting that Blair and Bush are acting as disciples of Herman Goering the Nazi German propaganda chief managed to catch the attention of one blogger with a slight leaning to establishment fantasies. Jonathan Lockhart in his “Commentary & Analysis of Politics & Current Affairs” states,
This is yet another example of the line that the terror threats are all an invention. But only a few days ago we had Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir John Stevens saying that the police had definitely thwarted attacks planned in Britain……….
I know, before everyone rushes to point out my ignorance at relying on the testimony of the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, it is obvious that Sir John Stevens is a stooge of the Goering disciple Blair, who is a puppet of Bush, who is a prisoner of the neoconservatives – and on and on he went!
Somehow he misses the point. I wonder why. Bush played the terror card in the Presidential election and the betting is that Blair will do the same in the British one. This has nothing to do with conspiracy but more to do with the way elites manage to hold onto power. If they can frighten people then they can get the outcome they want – and that is exactly what Goering did! The terror threat is real and becoming more real every day as a result of the Iraq war. However leaders choose often to over play it for their own advantage. It is time we learnt to know what is real and what is play-acting; but then how can we? Governments often have a monopoly of information.
